Stunning case of cheek herpes.

Mean Jean just in time for Halloween…

Representative Mean Jean Schmidt (R-OH) talks killing unborn babies with a student audience that included first graders!

The Cincinnati Catholic School principal had to apologize for the “confusion and fear” Schmidt caused.  He also regretted:

the awkward position this may put you in, of introducing a difficult issue at a time that may be premature for you.” –Politics Daily

Then up yonder to Canton where a McDonald’s franchise owner violates federal election laws by bullying workers to vote Republican.

Voter Intimidation at McD
Vote Douchebags or No Raise for You!

Paul Siegfried told employees in a memo:

If the right people are elected we will be able to continue with raises and benefits at or above present levels.  If others are elected, we will not.”

Republicans John Kasich, Rob Portman, and Jim Renacci are named the “right” sort of people.

An employee talked to an attorney who in turn put the case on a prosecutor’s desk.  Siegfried subsequently is groveling for forgiveness.  A smackdown from corporate probably helped.

Fucking finally…

Tom Ganley of Cleveland wants to the put the ASSman in Congressman!

The GOP candidate has been accused of hardcore sexual harassment by a second woman.

This one says, “As I went through the door, he didn’t just grab my buttocks. He carried my buttocks through the door.”  Then she indicates he followed up literal grab ass with a request to spank her while she wore lingerie.

She says she came forward to validate the story told by a mother of four who says Ganley sexually assaulted and attempted to rape her. (TPM)

Oh, and let’s not forget Nazipants over in Toledo.

  1. Oh those Ohioans! Aren’t they just too cute for words? They’ve got clowns selling fascism and little old women playing with children’s minds and buttock admirers putting women on pedestals, all trying to make the world safe for democracy by doing politics. How sweet! How American! How today! America’s future is in good hands, as apparently are women’s butts, fat food, and brainwashing children.

Yay American right wing politics! Rah rah rah!

Mr. Gorbachev, put that wall back up! You’re gonna need it.

    • Lunacy is pervasive. There’s the go-kill-yourself-gays school board member, Beck ginning up hate against a woman who eventually gets death threats, Vitter dodging whether he committed a crime by purchasing time from prostitutes, but last night ticking down the news headlines, it was Ohio, Ohio, Ohio.

The Mickey Dee’s story segues nicely from Fox News setting up a voter intimidation hotline/email. You know they were all over that. Not.

  2. I work part-time for a national retail chain. The regional mgr. was in this week and told our asst. mgr. that she could “thank Obama” for the latest rule the store instituted, that no part-time employee can work more than 30 hrs. per week.
I think ANY political comment of any kind from an employer to an employee, should be totally illegal, just like sexual harassment.

      • I can’t wait to hear who’s she’s going to blame when the Republicrazies make good on their threat to shut down the government and shut off all that cash that the government puts into the economy through its payrolls and purchasing power and so on. She’ll be looking at these last couple of years as the ‘good old days’.

  3. Well … this is my state so I better say something. Better yet, Jean Schmidt is my rep … I was against her as my township trustee, against her as my state rep, against her in her bid for state senator, and still against her today. Letters to the Editor are all over the map, but she is both a Roman Catholic and president of a local Right to Life group – so she’s getting a lot of positive comments. Sadly, she comfortably win re-election.

Rob Portman, also a Cincinnatian, but at least isn’t advocating as a Tea Partier. On the other hand, I don’t think I can trust Kasich.

Ohio is a diverse state … a very blue collar NE, a conservative SW, an Appalachian SE, and a farming NW – hence why it is such a swing state.

Oh well …. now I’m babbling. Just wanted to update the look from here.

  4. I’ve associated with all four corners of the state … grew up in SE, college in NW (BGSU), spouse from NE, and adulthood in SW … so I’ve lived the differences within the state.

Jean Schmidt goes take the cake – although I recall a state senator (during my youth) who striped mined state land AND got re-elected.

Many aren’t happy with Gov Strickland, but show me voters who are happy with their governor during an economic downturn.
