Buddhist Palm Print Up for Auction

Buddhist Palm Print Up for Auction

A man in northern Idaho believes a rock slide on his property miraculously revealed the “Hand of God” in his life.

Yet, Kung Fu fans immediately recognize this as the Buddhist Palm, duh.

So, like any religiously devout American, 52 year old Paul Grayhek has put a stake in his spiritual experience up on E-Bay.

♪♪ Rock of Ages, I can see!  ♪♪

♪♪ Broken down by entropy! ♪♪

♪♪ It’ll help me turn a buck, ♪♪

♪♪ Maybe change my rotten luck. ♪♪

The bid is up to $1500 today.

The 5 or 6 fingered hand-like formation is about 9 feet tall and 4 feet wide.  Grayhek notes the rockfall happened during Lent on March 8th.

More evidence of the Buddhist Palm.  8 is THE luckiest number in Chinese lore.

The Idaho man says it’s been rough since losing his job and the hand is a sign.

Bidding on Ebay ends May 6, 2009.

And for those of you who have not experienced the cinematic glory of the Buddhist Palm:

    • 🙂 I’ll have to look it up, Davis. I’m not surprised to hear it though; the lore had to come from somewhere.
