The short of it is, Rove failed to show for another subpoena.  Now it’s House Judiciary Chairman Conyers’  move .   Nothing has been announced on his website about the deposition that’s never happened.

On March 4th,  the Obama administration is due to offer its opinion on the Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten case, in which former President Bush also asserted executive privilege.  One court has already rejected the claim of privilege as proposed in sweeping, general terms that effectively castrate Congress and eliminate oversight.
