Rush sounds like he’s on a booze and cocaine buzz instead of oxycontin.

The burgandy-saddled dope fiend, who liberally promoted “Barack the Magic Negro” and believes the Democratic interest in Darfur is a secret progressive plot to secure the vote of black people‡, is treating a recent comment from Attorney General Eric Holder like it’s a personal attack.

Holder gave a speech on Black History at the Department of Justice.  He said to colleagues:

Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot in things racial, we have always been, and we, I believe, continue to be in too many ways, a nation of cowards.  Though race related issues continue to occupy a significant portion of our political discussion, and though there remain many unresolved racial issue in this nation, we average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about things racial.  And we, in this room, bear a special responsibility. ”  February 18, 2008

Here’s what Rush heard:

Blah, blah, blah, I am an all-powerful justice wielding African-American who is infinitely more educated than Rush. Blah, blah. Blah. Rush is a big, fat coward on race.

So, Viagra-Boy spews a rant on how brave he is on race by never failing to mention black quarterbacks are NOT getting the shaft.  Oh, and people who only voted for Obama because he’s black.

Woo. Hoo. Limbaugh might want to throw in some anti-psychotics in with his next oxycocktail.

Hahahahahahahahaha

  2. He also displays weird tics – notice the right hand the way it twitches. I also had a flashback to grainy black-and-white footage of Hitler on the podium at one point when he’s waving his arms and barking at the mike.

That the man has such a huge following is kinda sad.

  3. Too bad I don’t have an editing suite where I could splice the videos side by side. He’s not exactly an appeal to one’s “better angels” kind of guy.

  4. hesus hristo, mang
what the hell is up with that man? I mean how can he stay both so angry and so robustly rotund?

shouldn’t the oxycontin be calming his ass down?

holy fuck, I remember Rush being ridiculous but he’s barely making sense here… for his own sake I hope somebody helps his wean off all those meds… I mean, I don’t like the self-agrandizing Rush, but this sort of behavior is indicative of some deeper inner turmoil…

or it could be he’s just compensating for secretly voting for B.H. Obama… aka the Big O….

either way… somebody get me a helicopter and a tranquilizer gun, I’ll have this portly mastedon of opinion under control within the week..

    one love,

  5. Hi Melissa,

Aside from all his obvious ailments as have already been shared in the earlier posts above, I believe in this case Mr. Limbaugh may be trying to alert his listeners to refrain from feeling guilty about Mr. Holder’s broad generalizations (that not enough whites do enough to reach out and help resolve the great racial divide). In that vein only I would have to agree that making one side or the other feel a burden of guilt is laying a gauntlet down that decreases any genuine chances of a healthy resolution.

  6. Not sure why he’d even take issue – race and hate baiting made him rich.
(wha … ugh – I feel a regurge comin’ on with that thought alone…)

  7. Hi, Al–

Whether by intellectual and cognitive limitations or intentional incitement of racial animosity, Limbaugh seizes on a skewed interpretation and extrapolates from the skew (which is a very fancy way of lying). Limbaugh spins a nearly impenetrable web of informal logical fallacies as he goes so that he ceases making sense. I’ll work with what you’ve suggested, “Mr. Limbaugh may be trying to alert his listeners to refrain from feeling guilty about Mr. Holder’s broad generalizations (that not enough whites do enough to reach out and help resolve the great racial divide).”

    1) Holder posits the statement as his own belief and experience.
    2) Holder qualifies “nation of cowards” as a condition existing in “too many ways.”
    3) Only one way is too many ways in my opinion.
    4) Holder indicts himself in the notion of not talking enough about racial things.
    5) Holder does not posit this as a white people problem, but as an American one.

Limbaugh further deploys a fallacy of relevance (mingling a red herring and an ad hominem with a strawman on top) via a call for a Holder speech on what the Attorney General likes about America. And this is why I call for Limbaugh tossing back some anti-psychotics because he is completely irrational and uncooperative when it comes to a reasonable discussion.

  8. I cannot belive this man is still on the air and people listen to him. It is so sad…the right fucked up the country for the last eight years and in Obama’s first 100 days they are already calling for the right to take the country back. I wish him and O’reiley and the like would drop dead. Reverend Manny is right that guy is way to medicated.

    • Hi, Zach. I have a kid with your name. 😉

I haven’t even watched the CPAC stuff. Hear it’s pretty choice. As for the GOPclowns dropping dead, they are much funnier living and sans power.
