GOP Infected with Limbaugh Venom
“I hope he fails.” –Rush Limbaugh

So, what does the GOP stand to gain listening to the thrice married, Viagra smuggling, oxycontin popper Rush Limbaugh?  A big, fat fail according to President Barack Obama.  Obama urged Republicans to swear off Limbaugh if they want to get along and solve the nation’s problems.  Exact words:

“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done.” –Obama to GOP leaders during White House meeting to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package

Showing ideology comes before country, Limbaugh spewed venom before Obama was even inaugurated.

In the meantime, some of Obama’s proposals in the stimulus package are a big, wet, sloppy kiss for Republicans like a program that “doubles renewable energy capacity in three years that includes a measure to leverage $100 billion in private financing” and an expansion of the Child Tax Credit, to cut taxes for more than 16 million children.”

  1. I have read surprisingly level-headed commentary coming from Republicans. I have to acknowledge this.

Limbaugh is bottom-of-the-barrel and I believe he will continue to appeal to lowest common denominator. Hopefully, the drive to want to see the whole country fail (because as Obama goes, so goes the economy) will keep power from the hands of Republicans for a long time.

  2. This coming from someone who called everyone who criticized Bush unpatriotic. How much more unpatriotic can you get than to wish your president (and therefore your country) to fail??

  3. Because Limbaugh hopes that Obama fails will not make it happen. I hope he [Limbaugh] dies, lets see who gets their wish.
