Here’s a great big thank you from Veronica De La Cruz. She pushed for a goal of 500 signatures by midnight last evening petitioning Congress to do Health Care Reform right. That means a public option to guarantee competition. Americans do not deserve to be left at the mercy of ruthless insurance companies. And it means preexisting conditions may not preclude individuals from receiving care.
Her determination paid off, and well before midnight more than 500 people signed.
Naturally, since she never stops, she upped the call to a thousand signatures by the weekend. Let’s face it, the fatter the petition, the better impression it makes.
If any of you are so inclined, please ask your friends and family members to sign, too. The present number is 549 signed.
Twitter it.
Facebook it.
Blog it.
Whatever means are at your disposal, please help.
Thanks again. <3

You amaze me. Thank you for helping spread the word xo
Veronica or WriteChic: Is there any sort of premade endcap ad I could include on my site for the petition? I checked the WeLoveEric site and ThePetitionSite and didn’t see anything likely.
Thanks,

I fixed this one to take you to the petition.
Trying again:

I’ll email it to you.
Shit. Didn’t think html posted in comments. I’ll try again.
S’ok. I made my own — upper left on h-oh-l.blogspot.com. It’s just not very pretty. Blogspot, as far as I know, doesn’t really have a good premade widget for making end cap ads of the quality of the Kiva ad just below that on my site. Thanks, though.
Did pop the email to you. Thanks for taking the time.
I am not an American, but I did sign. Your nation is far too wealthy to not take care of its citizens. Good luck to all of you.
Thank you, Elsie. It’d be great if you could spread the word.
