I’ve been following Veronica’s Twitter feed the last few minutes, and there’s good news:
We did it! We finally got Eric admitted to a hospital. Now of course there is still a long road ahead, but this was the first major step…
Tenacity and endurance can pay off! Thanks to all of you who have followed the story, written, posted widgets, fb’ed, twittered, crossposted, called doctors and hospitals. Eric was not admitted to UCLA, but he’s presently in a hospital in L.A. And that’s all I know. The family is exhausted, but another layer of red tape has been severed.

And if you can stand it, hugs and kisses, Melissa

Oh my goodness. I am so glad they got him in the hospital. If this isn’t a heartbreaking example of how bad our healthcare system is screwed up, then I don’t know of one. Something has got to change!!!!!
Awesome news, Melissa! Thanks for keeping the rest of us posted. And, yes, have to agree with fellow poster hgalloway something has got to change. Have a safe and wonderful weekend.
