Brit Hume talks taint on Fox News Sunday.

Firstly, poor, poor Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.  He deserves the same pity as an uncharged Guantanamo prisoner.  Blago is innocent until proven guilty, and everyone should stop treating him like a would-be senate-seat-selling slime ball with the mouth of a stevedore:

It’s easy to see how Blagojevich is just misunderstood, right.

Dems should be concerned about the appointment made by Blagojevich.  Roland Burris doesn’t really give the impression he’s going to be able to retain the seat…after all, he’s had Blago’s taint all over him.

If they go ahead with the Burris appointment, they may just be trading one circus for another.
