More Confirmation that Torture Came from Top Bush Officials

I’ve got no ear for language hypothetical and vague
And hell won’t get here quickly so let’s send them to the Hague
These kinds of crimes demand certain action be pursued
There’s little time and oh so much to do
Now that we know that they knew”

A unanimous Senate Panel led by Senators Carl Levin (D-MI) and John McCain (R-AZ) points to former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other Bush Administration officials for torture at Gitmo and in other foreign jails.  The bipartisan Senate report says Rumsfeld and others must assume direct responsibility for the abuse and torture.  Furthermore, the idea that “a few bad apples acting on their own” is subterfuge, an attempt to shift accountability;  in fact, the opposite is true.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow interviews author and former master SERE instructor Malcom Nance.   Nance explains how the enemy playbook was reverse engineered to use against prisoners in spite of common knowledge among experts that torture is ineffective.
