When we protested to keep the Olympic torch out of homophobic Cobb county, Newt took a very strong and homophobic stance. He spewed pure antigay crap left and right. I believe Candace wrote him a letter then as well. Newt doesn't care. As southerners are prone to do, they will attack gay people while conveniently forgetting that they are denying rights to members of their own family. Do they care? I think not.
