Police in Florida arrest a 12-year-old boy for farting in class. School administrators are so lame they let law enforcement officers do the “disciplining.” Police say on November 4th, the boy “deliberately passed gas to disrupt the class.” He is also accused of shutting off the computers of fellow students at Stuart’s Spectrum Jr./Sr. High School.
The boy confessed to police and was turned over to his mother.

Helen, this is such poor management of a classroom. That kid should have had detention. If he’s been a habitual behavior problem, then there should be some non-news-making intervention. Arrested is just nuts.
Yes, arresting a 12-year old for farting in class is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. I can’t believe the police were willing to get involved!
the words “travesty”,”miscarriage”,”abomination” and “flat-out disgrace” hardly come close to how I want to describe the justice (or a disturbing grand lack there of) carried out in this situation. At first, all I did was shake my head and chuckle but the more I thought about it,the less sense it made.
It is a rectal boil on the face of the justice system!

i love how impeaching bush for crimes against the constitution is just insane, but sicking the cops on farting teenager is an appropriate distribution of justice….
