The carnage begins about 3 minutes in! Alaska Governor Sarah Palin merrily hams up her official pardon of a turkey for Thanksgiving, but in the background Bubba the Butcher is beheading birds and draining blood into a big, fancy tub. Bubba looks a little sheepish…as if “maybe if I stare really hard at the camera, my invisibility powers will kick in.”

Is this a humor post? Looks more political to me. I’ve had enough of that to last a life time.
Think political humor…the video would be funny regardless of the particular politician who had issued a turkey pardon.
Ewwwwwwww!
I’m not even gonna watch that. I can’t handle it.
That was actually explosively funny.been having a hard time getting on your site.I think it may have been a software issue but I hope I got it worked out.So how do I get one of them cute pics by my name?
this interview demonstrates Sarah Palin’s uncanny ability to use the media for her own ends. The circumstances presented here are designed to appear accidental, but surely they are not… the turkey in the background is a subliminal warning for all who oppose her rise to power: Submit now or die.
Hey, Jase! Just sign up for a wordpress account. You’re not forced to start a blog if you don’t want to, but you upload a pic/avatar that you like.
Patrick, you’re right, DIE, TURKEYS!!!! just might be her message…which is really funny. She was asked if she minded having the slaughter shed as a backdrop. Most photographers don’t ask.
’m shocked!
(For those of you with ADD and only focus on the bird – there is actually a very shocking message).
The shocker: A state actually saved money during a surplus!
Ok, I’m officially shocked!
Other states like Illinois spent all their surplus and now asking for help. What if companies did this – saved money for a rainy day – instead of spend – we would have a different economic situation.
It is really common sense. We need that in our government.
And the reason why so many people are still talking about Palin is because she is a threat. You see the Obama administration is so focused on presentation, even to a fault, spending great time making sure they look good.
The biggest threat to Obama’s strategy is having someone who is real and authentic come along with an actual REAL record to show for it.
So what a turkey is slaughtered. I’d rather my leaders spend her time worrying about government spending, than making sure her setup is perfect.
But as for Me…
I look at the record of leaders, not how they present themselves. Saving money. Now that’s smart.
Saving money is always smart, ArmChairMBA. Under Bush, Americans worked longer hours, produced more than ever, and saw their ability to save absolutely evaporate…along with their 401Ks and pensions.
Alaska ought to be doing better than other states as the Land of the Midnight Sun collects 25% of oil company profits. Have you noticed…oil companies have made a killing the last two years?
It’s not like Palin installed Alaska’s Permanent Fund. But you go and massage that illusion of her genius. I’d like to see her run in 2012.
I would vote for her in 2012-if nothing else because I think she is hot…………..
and the whole surplus thingy.
