Iowans Attempt Citizen’s Arrest on Rove for 3rd Time

Radio Iowa reports 4 people attempted a citizen’s arrest on Karl Rove at a speaking engagement in Des Moines Friday.   The former adviser to President Bush was speaking at a GOP fundraising dinner for a $100 a plate.

Eighty-year-old a retired Methodist minister Chet Gwinn was among those arrested:

“To be silent when major crimes are being committed against all humanity makes us accomplices.”

This is the third citizen’s arrest attempted on Rove this year in the Hawkeye state.  Two tries happened in March 2008 at his University of Iowa speech.
