Why McCain is running on a Bush platform staggers the brain. It comes off with the all the brilliance of Giuliani’s one state strategy and spotlights the vacuum of Republican leadership.
My personal taste in books includes biographical storytelling and with that in mind, McCain defies predictability in the worst possible way. He has a serious integrity problem being on any side of an argument at any given moment. As he bumbles and blusters through the election season, he’ll end up his own worst enemy.

No doubt McCain has problems.
I believe the only way McCain can win this election is if Barack Obama screws up really bad.
(See- the 2004 election and John Kerry. Bush probably shouldn’t have won that one.)
McCain didn’t have to have these problems though, I think, if he had just remained the man he was in 2000. I’m trying to be objective here.
I think the Rezko thing could have been bad for Obama if it hadn’t turned out Rezko had a better affection for Karl Rove and that McCain has Renzi as a counterbalance.
