On Meet The Press Sunday, former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan discusses Karl Rove’s lies that put McClellan in the position of passing on lies to the American people.
McClellan described Rove as “pretty disingenuous” about his involvement in the leaking of Valerie Plame Wilson’s identity. McClellan also says Bush should have kept his word and fired Rove for being involved. McClellan says, Bush lowered the bar.
McClellan provides certainty about Rove’s reliabilty when not under oath. He lies. Chairman Conyers and the House Judiciary Committee insist that any statements they take from Rove will be under oath exactly for this reason. While I’ve read many statements that pooh-pooh McClellan as a Johnny-Come-Lately, he’s done America a service by adding to the body of evidence against the White House.
McClellan’s new book, What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception, is #1 at Amazon.com

Are you sure that McClellan isn’t under hypnosis control by some sort of left wing blogger? Karl Rove seemed to hint at that possibility on Fox News and I don’t think that we should overlook it.
I like your i.d., cloak. And I hope that’s the position the right takes.
Remember how people who opposed the Iraq War were vilified? Remember how they were investigated? Remember how they were call “un American”? Remember how they were told they “didn’t support our troops”? Remember how they were called all kinds of names? Remember the “freedom fries”? Remember the Dixie Chicks? Remember how Cindy Sheehan, the greiving mother for a fallen soldier was vilified for asking “what noble cause” ?
The War protestors were (W)right.
France Germany and Russia were (W)right.
The UN inspectors were (W)right.
The Dixie Chicks were (W)right.
Cindy Sheehan was (W)right.
Wrong begins with Dubya.
