Rove Snubs Judiciary Deadline

ht Rip Hot Potato Mash

Karl Rove now says he will only answer the House Judiciary if they submit written questions. However, Rove has been perfectly willing to grant an interview with GQ and the Birmingham News about the Siegelman Case.  What’s wrong with testifying under oath before the Judiciary Committee?  Perhaps because lying under oath will send him to jail; whereas, lying to newspapers and magazine won’t.

Appearing by phone on MSNBC’s The Verdict, Sielgelman said he believes someone told Scott Bloch to shut down the Office of Special Counsel investigation into whether Siegelman’s prosecution was politically motivated. So, does Abrams.

Rove says he has executive privilege; however, the Siegelman prosecution does not involve executive privilege. Plus, Rove says he never spoke with anyone at the White House about the case.

  1. Who is this guy, the king? No he’s a citizen of the USA and is subject to follow the rules like everybody else. He’s taken the republican parties foes out using the DOJ and needs to be held accountable. I wish I had more space to tell this casualty of Rove’s story but go to http://www.donsiegelman.com you’ll be outraged after reading this.
