Reps. Steve Cohen (D-TN) and Robert Wexler (D-FL) question FBI Director Robert Mueller about the who’s who among torturers in our government . Mueller said that he “reached out” to The Department of Defense and the Department of Justice because there was evidence these agencies were involved in torture. FBI investigators determined “inappropriate conduct”–a damn clinical description. Mueller pulled his agents out of operations he deemed illegal.
Mueller’s apparent Catch-22 is that the DOD and DOJ were suspected of illegal activity, FBI protocol demands it be reported to the DOJ. As if…as if the DOJ would find fault with itself…AS IF a DOJ created by Bush would find fault with itself.

“Reached out,” eh?
Isn’t that a phrase mafiosi(sp?) use for calling a meeting to work out the sorts of differences that lead to shooting wars between factions?
Creepy, huh? He contacted, informed, apprised, etc….
No, he “reached out.” Are they so isolated from ordinary people they start using their own language?
