MSNBC’s Dan Abrams does an excellent background piece showing the GOP machine gearing its case against Siegelman and Rove’s friendships with Alabama Republicans.
Karl Rove refused to testify in the U.S. Attorney scandal. However, Abrams says that Rove’s attorney is willing to let his client testify before Congress in the Siegelman case. Siegelman’s reaction, “Well, then let’s don’t waste any time. I think the House and Senate Judiciary Committees should subpoena Karl Rove.”
Siegelman also offers insight on the legal inbreeding in the Justice Department in Alabama.
