Torture Lawyers Feith, Gonzales, Yoo

Above are three of the go-to guys for legitimizing torture. The “few bad apples” the Bush administration blamed for prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo were not military renegades at the bottom of the pecking order, but outlaw attorneys at the top. The former Defense Department Undersecretary Douglas Feith, disgraced former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, and former Bush Administration attorney John Yoo all conspired to provide the legal justification for circumventing P.O.W. status and engaging inhumane treatment of prisoners in the military attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq.

MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and Jonathan Turley discuss the paper trail that exposes the cowardly lies by Bush and Rumsfeld who blamed troops from West Virgina for illegal acts that were in fact promoted by the administration.
