Gator in Traffic

It was a good day not to be deputy in Florida.  An alligator forced traffic delays during the morning rush hour in North Lauderdale.

The beast was chilling out on the right side of southbound U.S. Highway 441.

Southbound traffic was limited to a single lane while Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies monitored the gator and used their squad cars to block the gator from crossing the road.

That death roll in the video gave me the willies.
