Wal-Mart is Pure Evil

Keith Olbermann dubbed WalMart as the Worst Person in the World, and rightly so. Debbie Shank was covered by WalMart’s health insurance plan as an employee when she was in the accident that left her permanently brain-damaged.  The family sued the trucking company involved in the crash and was awarded a million dollars.  After attorneys sucked out their portion, $417,000 was put into a trust for Shank’s care.

A clause in Shank’s WalMart policy says she has to payback her medical coverage if she wins a lawsuit.  So, WalMart demanded that $417,000 plus $53,000 on top of that for her medical bills leaving the family with zilch.

WalMart clears $90,000,000,000 a year in profit.  Plus, the money that would have gone to Shank.  Way to go, WalMart.
