Yikes. McCain looks like an easy target in the General Election if he keeps this up. He misstated Iran is training Al Qaeda and exporting trainees to Iraq. Turncoat Lieberman helped him out.
Sen. John McCain has done it again.
For the third time in two days, the Arizona Republican has pushed the definitively false statement that the terrorist group Al-Qaeda was getting assistance from Iran, even though he was publicly ridiculed for the same false assertion on Tuesday.

Can’t remember where I read it now, but I think he did it a fourth time. If a Dem did this, their foreign policy credentials would be under the big media microscope and their campaign would be soooooo over. McCain’s all but getting a pass. Makes me a little angry. But, this is further proof for me that he can’t stand up to either Democratic candidate in a debate.
btw, I’m ready for the party to start attacking him. I’m afraid we’re not going to have time to get his astoundingly high numbers down if we don’t begin a coordinated, nationwide campaign against him soon. From the polls I’ve seen lately, he’s in “so close they steal the election AGAIN” territory right now.
